Well that second year went by pretty fast, didn't it?

On the same note I wrote about last year, my attention span with this site still surprises me. I've had long term projects before, and historically they last a month or two, then peter out and get half an hour of attention every once in a while. This made it through its first year, miraculously, and then stayed active for an entire second one!

It's definitely been a slower year than the first regarding content. Part of me is disappointed I haven't made all the pages I have in mind, but I suppose that's to be expected. Can't do it all and live life at the same time. Also, looking back on how the site was a year ago, I'm totally talking garbage there's way more site in this site. Lol.

On the flipside I feel a lot more connected to the "indie web scene", as it were, compared to a year ago. I check my Neocities feed daily, poke my head into someone's site once in a while (not as often as I'd like but whatever), keep up with my mutuals. It's nice.

I'm really glad I'm still at it, I feel like the BevWebSite has grown into something really important. I love showing it to people whenever I can do so while looking sane, I love making a new page and spamming the link in as many group chats as I can, and I love checking out other people's sites and seeing what we have in common.
