I love CDs. I love that I get to physically hold my favorite music, flip through the booklets full of art that always come in the case, I love going out walking and carrying my discman around with me.
In an era where everything is streaming and you own nothing there's a lot of value, I think, in having real, tangible art that you can hold in your hands and own forever. CDs in particular are way more common than you'd expect nowadays, big artists still release albums that way, and even for the smaller artists that can't, there are still options! Go on Bandcamp, buy an album (supporting small artists in important!) and burn it onto a blank CD!
Physical media is very important to me, and I think it should be important to you too! Go start a CD collection. Now. Rah.
